A collection of Ryan's work,

Kirkdale press is a new ebook publishing house from Logos Bible Software.
As a publicist, Ryan works with authors to find their target audience, reach out to them on the web, and build a following. He also helps authors navigate the world of ebook publishing and coaches them on how to successfully market themselves and their ebooks.
Ryan joined the marketing team at Logos Bible Software in 2010 to help launch microsites for products like the High Definition Commentary series, Lexham Bible Dictionary, Reftagger, and more.
During the first phase of Vyrso’s prelaunch, Ryan helped Vyrso’s Facebook page grow from zero to over 9,000 “likes” in less than a month.
He is also a regular contributor to the Logos blog, Newswire emails, and the infamous, “Brilliant Ideas” whiteboard at Logos HQ.
Ryan has a philosophy that great ideas do not emerge when you are looking for them. Instead, he found it much easier (and a lot more fun) to come up with a list of terrible ideas—ideas that would never work. Strangely enough, the more he brainstormed for bad ideas, the more good ideas he created.
This unique process worked so well Ryan decided to share it. In the spring of 2010 he created Terrible Business Ideas (currently in hibernation), a website where people submit ridiculous ideas ranging from Floppy Tunes (a floppy disk car stereo) to Bible Burger (a pun-filled religious restaurant). Those who submit TBI’s also have the option to include details on how the product will be marketed, who would buy it, and so forth.
As Ryan describes, “TBI is like throwing a designer, business consultant, and your goofy uncle all in the same room. It’s unusual, surprisingly beneficial, and a whole lot of fun.”
Ryan has worked with organizations like Washington Business Week, Birch Equipment, and Giving Anonymously, who were featured on NBC, NPR, MSN.com and The New York Times.
Although Ryan is not taking clients at this time, you can follow him on Twitter to learn about today’s newest marketing strategies.
